Yellow orange and green headwraps lead the way as two women, seen from behind, admire four giant fruits. Star Stem Sisters gives one golden fruit a little star on its stem, like it won a prize at the fair.

Women in headwraps beside heaps of fruit are a classic Haitian subject, a tribute to the farms and markets that feed every family. The fruits here are almost as tall as the sisters themselves.

This original was painted in Panama by Haitian artists. It has been carefully stored and is in very good condition.

It is hand painted on canvas and comes unframed, as a loose canvas, ready for the frame of your choice.

Founded in 1991, TraderBrock celebrates handmade art from Latin America and the people who make it. Haitian paintings have been part of our collection from the very start, and all profits go back into the indigenous artisan communities we work with in Panama.
