A yellow rowboat rests on red and gold striped water, and four birds glide across an orange and yellow sky. Sunset Hut Siesta adds a red walled hut with a yellow thatched roof, tucked beneath a palm with yellow and maroon fronds.

Palm trees, thatched huts and rowboats are classic seaside subjects in Haitian art, painted again and again in new colors. This sunset version glows with warm reds and golds from top to bottom.

This original was painted in Panama by Haitian artists and is signed by the artist. It has been carefully stored and is in very good condition.

It is hand painted on canvas and comes unframed, as a loose canvas, ready for the frame of your choice.

Founded in 1991, TraderBrock celebrates handmade art from Latin America and the people who make it. Haitian paintings have been part of our collection from the very start, and all profits go back into the indigenous artisan communities we work with in Panama.
