Black, white and soft gray turn this beach into a crisp sketchbook scene. Monochrome Beach Day leans a tall palm across the sky, tucks a thatched hut behind it and lets an empty rowboat drift while five seabirds pass overhead.

Seaside scenes with palms and little boats are a favorite of Haitian painters, a reminder of island life by the water. The pale beige sand is the only warm color here, which makes it glow.

This original was painted in Panama by Haitian artists and is signed by the artist. It has been carefully stored and is in very good condition.

It is hand painted on canvas and comes unframed, as a loose canvas, ready for the frame of your choice.

Founded in 1991, TraderBrock celebrates handmade art from Latin America and the people who make it. Haitian paintings have been part of our collection from the very start, and all profits go back into the indigenous artisan communities we work with in Panama.
