Is it a kiss or just a very close conversation? Bubble Smooch brings two tropical fish nose to nose, one red orange and one golden yellow, while a dozen clear bubbles float up around them over a bright red sea.

Loose, quick brushwork gives this piece a joyful energy, with ribbons of dark and light blue swirling behind the fish. Haitian painters often turn the creatures of the sea into characters with real personality.

This original was painted in Panama by Haitian artists and is signed by the artist. It has been carefully stored and is in very good condition.

It is hand painted on canvas and comes unframed, as a loose canvas, ready for the frame of your choice.

Founded in 1991, TraderBrock celebrates handmade art from Latin America and the people who make it. Haitian paintings have been part of our collection from the very start, and all profits go back into the indigenous artisan communities we work with in Panama.
