Three friends in white and pale blue sit close together, and two woven baskets of orange fruit wait at their feet. Gold Hoop Harvest crowns each of them with a bright headwrap in orange, green or red, plus shining gold hoop earrings, against a light sky blue ground.

Headwraps, baskets and piles of fruit are favorite Haitian subjects, a happy salute to the farms and markets of the island. Oversized fruits in red, orange, plum and green tumble around these three like party balloons.

This original was painted in Panama by Haitian artists. It has been carefully stored and is in very good condition.

It is hand painted on canvas and comes unframed, as a loose canvas, ready for the frame of your choice.

Founded in 1991, TraderBrock celebrates handmade art from Latin America and the people who make it. Haitian paintings have been part of our collection from the very start, and all profits go back into the indigenous artisan communities we work with in Panama.
